Blackberry Presenter From RIM
In the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas, RIM seems did not want to miss showing off its newest product, the Blackberry Presenter.
Blackberry Presenter is an easy portable gagdet for businessmen that can presented their Microsoft PowerPoint documents directly from the BlackBerry device. This gadget is claimed to be one reason for business people to forget their old projectors.
With small size, Blackberry Presenter can be a solution for business people to avoid carrying a large projector and weight to make presentations. The size of Blackberry Presenter is 3.4 x 2.4x 0.9 inches with a weight of more than one pound.
As quoted from PC World, this gadget displays three video resolution, 640×480 (VGA), 800×600 (SVGA) and 1024×768 (XGA) at 4:3 aspect ratio. Also equipped with VGA output and S-Video and USB power connector and a multi-mode LED status.
When displaying the file in PowerPoint format, Blackberry Presenter can displays Freeze Loop mode. Blackberry Presenter also claimed has a Bluetooth-compatible, supports NTSC video signals and PAL, as well as all the features of PowerPoint 2003 and 2007 animations.
Through this gadget, Blackberry also offers navigation features and speaker notes on the BlackBerry. Cast casing with a charming synthetic leather, Blackberry Presenter mentioned will attract the hearts of every businessman.
To operate it, Blackberry Presenter requires OS (Operating Systems) BlackBerry 4.6 upwards. That is, this gadget will not work if paired with older models like the BlackBerry Curve 8300 or Pearl Flip 8200 series.
For the price, the BlackBerry offers special enough, worth USD199, 99. But RIM did not want to mention when this gagdet will released. Blackberry only said that Presenter will be presented soon on the market.
