Qualcomm Is Ready To Taking Part Into Wireless Technology Industries

Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs believes that wireless technology has dramatically changed the way people live and communicate with each other.
Jacobs said that Qualcomm in the future have a vision to enter into all aspects of business, that include a smart phone, smartbook and netbooks. Because of all these units is very promising for Qualcomm.
“Wireless will affect every aspect of our lives. Examples like the Amazon Kindle, people do not think about it as a wireless device. They just use it to read their books,” she said, told IT Pro.
Lenovo on its debut has collaboration with Qualcomm to bring smartbook Skylight, embedded with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 1GHz.
“A new era is coming to mobile internet. Notebooks will remain as an important tool but it can no longer meet the needs of the society. They need a smaller, something sleek, easy to connect to the Internet and adapted for the Internet content that is not just for the office , “says Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing.
Meanwhile, Jacobs also announced that Qualcomm will cooperate with Google Chrome OS to support the operating system, and joined with other operating systems such as Android, Linux, Symbian and Windows Mobile.
For Qualcomm, smart phone has a beneficial side for his company. Moreover, this handheld device shipments will increase at the next 2011 years.
“Smart phone shipments will exceed the 2011 shipment of computers in the future,” he said
