Steven Danforth

Steven Danforth is co-founder of Agri-Process Innovations, a Stuttgart-based company that provides engineering and technical support for the agricultural and food-processing industries. Danforth, who earned his agricultural engineering degree from the University of Arkansas, started the company in 2000 with co-founder Mike Shook.

Before founding Agri-Process Innovations, Danforth worked as the plant manager at Riviana Foods Inc. in Carlisle, Ark., where he oversaw personnel, operations, engineering, purchasing and community relations. Before that, he worked at Riceland Foods in Stuttgart as a senior research engineer.

He is a charter member of the Arkansas Academy of Biological Engineers and a contributor to the parboiling chapter of Rice Chemistry and Technology. Danforth is a member of the University of Arkansas Bio and Ag Engineering Advisory Board, American Society of Agricultural Engineers, and Grain Elevators and Processors Society.
