Cal McCastlain

Cal McCastlain is an attorney with Pender, McCastlain & Ptak, P.A. in Little Rock. His law practice focuses on tax, business and corporate law.

McCastlain has worked extensively with agriculture business and policy matters. He was active in crafting the Arkansas Biodiesel Blending Incentive during the 2005 Arkansas Legislative session.

McCastlain manages his farming interests in Monroe County, Ark. He is the current chairman of the Arkansas Wheat Promotion Board, past president of the Agricultural Council of Arkansas (2000), member of the USA Rice Federation Technology Task Force and vice president of the Arkansas Foundation for Agriculture. He has served on the USDA Advisory Committee on Biotechnology (2000-2002) and as an Arkansas delegate on the National Cotton Council (2002-2004).
