Qualcomm Is Ready To Taking Part Into Wireless Technology Industries

Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs believes that wireless technology has dramatically changed the way people live and communicate with each other.

Jacobs said that Qualcomm in the future have a vision to enter into all aspects of business, that include a smart phone, smartbook and netbooks. Because of all these units is very promising for Qualcomm.

“Wireless will affect every aspect of our lives. Examples like the Amazon Kindle, people do not think about it as a wireless device. They just use it to read their books,” she said, told IT Pro.

IE Is Still Popular Among People

Various discussions that mention Internet Explorer (IE) browser’s increasingly supplanted by other, perhaps not entirely correct. At least one independent survey stated that approximately 80 percent of companies are still loyal to use Microsoft’s browser for office activities.

Survey conducted Devil Mountain Software said, 80 percent of the 22,000 computers using OS (Operating System) Windows Xp and relying on IE as their browser.

Nvidia Tegra SoC Is More Faster

Nvidia introduced their latest product, Tegra 2 System-On-Chip (SOC). Demonstration at CES 2010 show, this chip has the ability to capture high-Defintion (HD) images.

In addition to HD picture capture, Tegra SOC also able to show pictures with 3D capabilities. This chip runs on Unreal Engine and has a Dual-Core ARM Cortex A9 architecture, which makes it energy efficient.

Norwegian browser vendor, Opera, has just dropped their option on the Lars Boilesen as the new Opera’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), succeeding to the throne Jon von Tetzchner.

Boilesen who previously worked as Opera’s Chief Commercial Officer started taking the role as CEO earlier this week. Predecessor, Tetzchner, said that he had handed over the job to Boilesen and believe that his leadership will be followed even better by him.
